Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your strong understanding of the PeopleSoft Financials suite, covering modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, and Cash Management.
- Interpret business requirements related to financial processes and translate them into technical solutions within PeopleSoft.
- Configure and customize PeopleSoft Financials to align with the organization's specific needs, including setting up chart of accounts, defining business units, configuring approval workflows, and implementing business rules.
- Integrate PeopleSoft Financials with other systems and applications, leveraging tools like Integration Broker or PeopleSoft Integration Broker.
- Utilize reporting tools within PeopleSoft Financials (e.g., nVision, PS Query) to generate financial reports and analytics, with experience in creating custom reports and dashboards being a plus.
- Perform system maintenance tasks, including applying patches and updates, troubleshooting issues, and providing ongoing support to end users.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry requirements by aligning PeopleSoft Financials configurations and processes accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, gathering requirements, and explaining technical solutions in non-technical terms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and business analysts.
- Analyze complex business problems and propose effective solutions using PeopleSoft Financials functionality.
- Participate in or lead PeopleSoft Financials implementation projects, covering activities such as requirements gathering, solution design, testing, training, and go-live support.
