Job description

Starting in the 2024/2025 school year, the history department seeks a full-time, one-year (possibly two) teaching intern to work with the department as a history classroom teacher with our students.  Candidates should be interested in being part of a collaborative group of teachers and working with highly motivated high school students in a diverse, mostly residential community. 

Position Requirements

We are looking for a dynamic candidate who will be an active participant in the academic, athletic,  co-curricular and residential programs at the Academy. 

This position provides aspiring teachers the opportunity to work closely with a mentor and other experienced faculty members across campus. Enthusiasm for working with adolescents both inside and outside of the classroom is essential. Providing extra help, advising, working as dormitory faculty, and assisting with extracurricular activities are integral parts of the job.
