Project Accounting Manager Position Overview
We are looking for a Project Accounting Manager to join our team to provide timely and accurate financial analysis and reporting to support project managers and the organization. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of principles of accounting, finance, cost control and construction, and will use their knowledge to identify trends, analyze data, develop solutions and provide sound financial advice to project managers. The Project Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial analysis and reporting systems to support the organization's projects
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, develop and implement solutions
- Manage the end-to-end process of project accounting, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue tracking, project costing and invoicing
- Maintain and update the financial records related to projects
- Ensure compliance with all regulations and internal policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain project-related financial reports
- Provide financial advice and guidance to project managers
- Work with project managers to ensure accuracy of project budgets and forecasts
- Ensure timely and accurate billing of project related activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in financial management, project accounting, or related field
- Proficient in ERP systems and accounting software
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
