About Us: The T.E.A. Center s a reputable and well-established childcare center dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education and care to children ages [0- 12 years) in McLean, VA. Our center offers a stimulating and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive under the guidance of experienced and dedicated educators.
Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to join our team as a Childcare Center Director. The Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the childcare center's operations, including program development, staff management, parent engagement, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership and direction to staff members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Execute T.E.A. Center age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.
- Ensure compliance with licensing and Accreditation regulations, health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with parents and caregivers, addressing concerns and fostering open communication.
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise qualified childcare professionals, providing ongoing support and professional development opportunities.
- Manage administrative tasks such as budgeting, enrollment, billing, and record-keeping.
- Stay informed about current trends, best practices, and regulations in early childhood education and childcare administration.
- Must have a minimum 3+ experience as a Center Director
Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood education, Child Development, or related field .
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, curriculum development, and child development theories.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage staff, resources, and budgets effectively.
- Familiarity with licensing regulations and accreditation standards.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
