Job description
Responsibilities:
Supervision, training, and direct assistance of warehouse operations which include, but not limited to, loading/unloading, receiving, sorting, put away, picking, and inventory control.
Leading by example to ensure that all procedures and best practices are consistently followed.
Drive an efficient and motivated workforce by providing effective coaching, feedback, and encouragement.
Maintain accurate inventory levels by leading regular physical counts with warehouse teams and reconcile discrepancies with the warehouse inventory system.
Ensure a culture of safety by enforcing safety standards and adhering to standard operational procedures.
Measure and report KPIs and operational metrics to the Operations Manager on a weekly basis.
Requirements:
Strong communication, interpersonal skill, leadership, and conflict resolution
Strong knowledge of modern warehousing practices and methods
Critical thinking ability and a proactive approach to problem solving.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and inventory management software
Able to operate forklift and cherry picker equipment.
Bilingual Spanish and English
3+ years of combined management experience in Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics
Proven track record of managing at least 10 warehouse employees.
Experience with inventory control, inventory reconciliation, and cycle counting.
Bachelor s or associate s degree in Warehouse Management, Logistics, Business, or related field (strongly preferred)
Standard Forklift experience.
