Job description
The Northeast YMCA is looking to fill positions in our Teen Summer Camp Program! Get paid to play and have fun ! If you love working with children and are available to work weekdays we would like to hear from you! As a Summer Camp Counselor, you will have an opportunity to work with youth in grades 6-8th. Must be over the age of 21, have a valid Florida driver's license, and able to pass a level 2 background screening.
We are looking for Part-Time & Full Time staff to join our team. This position will run from May 28th to August 2tnd with plenty opportunities for staying involved with the Y as we move into the school year. Shifts will generally run 7:00am - 1:00pm for mornings and 12:00pm - 6:00pm for evenings! There are also options available for full time.
The YMCA provides it's team members with a stream of development opportunities starting with your First Aid/CPR Training and Certification.
Daily job duties include supervising, engaging, having fun and leading youth in indoor/outdoor recreational games, swimming, S.T.E.A.M. and mission projects, as well as plenty of field trips!
Teen camp will be on site Mondays and Fridays but offsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Pay starts at $13.50 per hour and may increase based on experience.
