B&N Water/Wastewater Engineer Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks related to the design of water/wastewater and utility infrastructure processes and facilities, such as collection and distribution systems, pump stations, and treatment plants including CAD drafting.
- Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis and construction cost estimates.
- Perform construction related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, perform periodic site visits to observe construction, and perform structural inspections, as needed.
- Be able to manage projects.
- Provide support for project managers and senior design engineers.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program
- EIT or EI registration with a desire to become a PE
- 4+ years of related water/wastewater experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with AutoCAD and REVIT
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to utilize virtual collaboration tools
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
