job summary:
Assistant Construction Manager is needed for a leading EPC firm in western Boston metro area. The Assistant Construction Manager is responsible to will support various project managers and engineers in the execution of Engineer Procure Construct (EPC) projects across diverse industries. Responsibilities include project safety, quality, scheduling, cost control, and client interface.
Qualified candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant construction experience or equivalent. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with project management software are preferred. strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities are essential, along with the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in construction project sites or program management across different industries is advantageous, coupled with a basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
This role is slated to be a contract-to-direct hire position, and our client is only seeking local talent at this time.
