Overview
Oversees fundraising activity of the *** Charities, Inc. which includes United in Charities and several sub-funds. Manages the databases and accounts receivable for the Saint John Paul II National Shrine fundraising and completes other projects and duties as required or assigned. Ensures compliance standards are met & verifies correct funding allocation.
Core Responsibilities
Provides limited and directed assistance for database maintenance and credit card processing for donations for *** Charities, Inc., and the Saint John Paul II National Shrine.
Manually processes miscellaneous checks received from councils, fraternal services and miscellaneous reimbursement checks.
Processes donations, using batch and manual methods. Makes sure that contributions are deposited timely, allocated by fund accurately, recorded in database and acknowledged to donors. Tallies survey results and replies to correspondence.
Skills Qualifications
Required:
Bookkeeping/accounting background
High-level oral and written communication skills
Good organizational skills
Self-motivated
Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of database software program ResultsPlus necessary
Education
Required:
3-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of training and experience
Physical Demands
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a majority of the workday.
