Job description
Bella Ballet and Empower by Bella Ballet are award-winning dance schools located conveniently in the heart of the Kentlands. We are looking to hire a passionate, positive, energetic, and motivated dance instructor who is available to join our vibrant dance studio this upcoming school year.
You will be responsible for teaching and training a dynamic group of students in a range of techniques and dance styles, ensuring that all students are engaged, motivated, and inspired to achieve their goals in their chosen area of dance. As a dance instructor, you will help provide quality dance education for students ages 2-18.
Part of your responsibility is to ensure classes run smoothly, as well as correcting techniques, and giving each child individual instruction. We require our teachers to have a dance background in Ballet, Jazz, and Hip Hop, as well as an encouraging personality, creating a positive environment for our dancers. Additional experience in Contemporary, Musical Theatre, and Acro is preferred.
Must have dance teaching experience. Some light cleaning may be required after class. NDA & Non-Compete Agreement will be required to sign if hired.

Responsibilities:
- Ability to teach various dance styles and using various methodologies from beginner to advanced level.
- Ability to communicate with a diverse group of teachers, students, and families
- Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals.
- Evaluate student progress and make recommendations for improvement.
- Choreograph routines.
- Provide a fun and creative environment.
- Keep up to date in your discipline and implement any changes to the dance routines and curriculum as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous teaching experience required.
- Background in dance required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Energetic, driven, creative, and dependable.
- Demonstrate patience and leadership skills.
