Other projects include an apartment complex in Rexburg, Idaho, a multi-use development in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and a golf course and resort community on the shores of Lake Anna, Virginia.

Job Description

We are looking to add an experienced attorney to our dynamic team of in-house attorneys and paralegals. The successful candidate must be detail oriented, well organized, and capable of managing multiple competing priorities. Experience drafting and negotiating contracts, real estate agreements, and private offering documents will be helpful. A candidate should be well versed in commercial transactions and real estate law.

Responsibilities

• Quickly become familiar with Reef Capital Partners' core businesses and growth strategy
• Draft and negotiate contracts, including construction agreements, real estate purchase contracts, and service agreements
• Assist in drafting or editing transactional documents and general corporate documents documents including:
  • LLC operating agreements
  • Subscription agreements
  • Buyout/contribution agreements
  • Private placement memorandums

• Assist with closing real estate transactions
• Work collaboratively and cooperatively with other staff to accomplish strategic objectives, including project management teams, accountants, and other attorneys
• Effectively managing changing priorities and expectations from multiple stakeholders

Qualifications

• A law degree from an accredited law school and 5+ years of transactional legal practice
• Significant experience in at least one of the the following areas of law:
  • Real estate development and transactions
  • Construction
• Excellent communication and organization abilities
• Strong research and writing skills
• Creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to take initiative and work independently while remaining an effective team player
• Ability to maintain perspective and keep sight of the larger goal while accurately and thoroughly handling details and smaller tasks
• History of working efficiently and effectively while multi-tasking, meeting deadlines, following projects through to completion, and maintaining high quality
