Position Overview: The Perioperative RN leaders are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse for the position of Pre-Operative and Pre-Admission Testing Nurse Supervisor. The PAT and Pre-Op RN Supervisor will ensure the seamless coordination and efficient management of pre-operative and pre-admission testing activities within a 300+ bed medical center.

Key Responsibilities for the Nurse Supervisor:

1. Supervision and Leadership: Provide strong leadership to the Pre-Op and PAT nursing team, ensuring a collaborative and patient-focused approach in delivering care.
2. Coordination of Pre-Operative Activities: Oversee the pre-operative processes, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and coordination with surgical teams to ensure a smooth and efficient pre-operative experience.
3. Pre-Admission Testing Management: Manage and coordinate the Pre-Admission Testing process, ensuring thorough assessments and necessary tests are conducted to facilitate the admission process.
4. Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices in pre-operative and pre-admission testing.
5. Collaboration with Surgical Teams: Work closely with surgical teams to facilitate effective communication and coordination of patient care plans, ensuring a comprehensive approach to pre-operative care.
6. Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in pre-operative and pre-admission testing.
