Intake Specialist (Full-Time)

Shaheen & Gordon, P.A., Attorneys at Law, is seeking a full-time Intake Specialist to join our team in the Concord, NH office. Our Intake Specialists are often the first point of contact with our firm and treat a 4:30PM call on a Friday with the same care and compassion as one on a Monday morning. Intake Specialists conduct interviews with potential new clients (“PNCs”) both on the phone and occasionally in person, and accurately record the information received into the appropriate database.

Duties included, but not limited to:

• Responding to live calls and emails from potential new clients and calling back potential new clients
• Conducting phone and occasional in-person interviews of the potential new client to learn about their situation and providing information about the firm
• Communicating with Attorneys about potential new clients and outside referrals
• Assuring client confidentiality
• Accurately recording information received from potential new clients

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with previous telephone customer service experience a plus
• Basic skills and experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and a willingness to learn
• Must demonstrate the ability to work as a member of a team, in addition to working independently
• Must have organizational skills and attention to detail, including proofreading and spelling
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a legal or office setting is preferred, but not required
• Prior data entry experience is a plus
• Bilingual is preferred, but not a requirement
