Job description
This is a 12-month contract to start position, high possibility of converting to a full-time role.
Location: Rockville, MD(onsite)
Pay Rate: 60k-90k/yr
Proficiency in Mandarin is an asset as the successful candidate will be required to communicate with business partners in ChinaJob Description: Accountant
Responsibilities:
1. Review payment applications and expense reimbursement forms.
2. Prepare online banking transactions.
3. Track fixed assets, including creation, transfer, and scrapping processes.
4. Fill out Form 1099 at the end of each fiscal year.
5. Perform physical inspections of fixed assets and participate in quarterly stock counts.
6. Collaborate with the SOX and Audit teams.
Requirements:
1. AICPA certification preferred.
2. Experience in an accounting department is a plus.
3. Proficient in financial accounting principles and practices.
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
7. Familiarity with SOX compliance and audit processes.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
