Cedar Pointe Hospice General In-patient unit is looking for a night shift RN!
We are a new program providing in-patient care to hospice patients within a skilled nursing facility. We are seeking nurses with hospice experience to join our caring and compassionate team. We work together as a team to make sure we all get the time off we need to maintain a work life balance. Have safe nurse to patient ratios . Our unit is currently only 4 beds! As we grow maximum ratios will be adjusted based on acuity. Responsibilities: • Provide direct care to terminally ill patients experiencing a symptom crisis • Perform frequent nursing assessments • Administer medications via various routes • Communication and coordination of care with the hospice team, as well as the facility physician/nurse practitioner • Provide education to patients and their families • Documentation in Point Click Care • Nursing skills and procedures such as Starting and maintaining IV access, tracheostomy care, insertion of urinary catheter etc. Requirements: • Must be a licensed Registered nurse • Have an understanding of hospice philosophy • 1 year of experience as an RN (hospice experience preferred) • Excellent communication skills • Skilled in electronic charting system (Pointe Click Care experience preferred) Full time Schedule: 7p-7a 3x week with opportunity for overtime Full Benefits Back to JobsJob tags
