NOW HIRING , an experienced Production Supervisor for a Food Manufacturing plant in Lewisville, TX!
Summary:
Supervisor III is responsible for overseeing the execution of the facility production plans in any of the following departments: Assembly, Prep, Pizza Line, Kitchen, Housekeeping, and Picking.
Principal Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Execute department plans and goals.
- Drive productivity goals and expectations.
- Supervise dept setup and execution.
- Ensure product orders are complete and yield loss documented.
- Coordinate dept plan changes with supervisors, line leads, and outside departments.
- Following up with customer shortages, damages, and misprocesses. The actions the person will be measured on are:
- Meet/Exceed production order fill rates.
- Product orders meet CDC dispatch goals.
- Meet productivity goals.
- Follow product specs and reduce/eliminate misprocesses.
- Assume department lead and critical roles when needed.
- Monitor dept workflow and address any issues. Quality, Productivity, Safety.
- Execute dept audits and report the results.
- Make real-time dept plan changes when needed. Personnel, Equipment, Production Schedule.
- Supervise dept. training. New Product, Cross Training, General Training, Equipment, Safety.
- Evaluate dept. plan execution and personnel.
- Understand, Collect, and Complete dept data collection. Distribute data when needed. Reports, Work orders, etc.
Position Requirements:
- Knowledge/Experience of a food manufacturing environment.
- Excellent organization, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and drive a team.
- Strong work ethic.
- USDA and FDA experience are a plus.
- HACCP experience is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn and use performance reporting tools; Microsoft, and company-specific software (VTS, etc.).
- Adaptable to a fast-paced work environment.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish).
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to stand for an extended period.
- Must be able to lift anywhere from 10 to 25 lbs.
Work Environment:
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high and will include, but not be limited to, production machinery, computers, printers, telephones, and normal communication.
- Associates are required to adhere to production schedule demands, dept rotation schedule changes, and overtime.
- Must be willing to work under various temperatures typically ranging from 40 to 95 F.
