Job description
Join this fast growing game development company in Boca Raton, Florida as a C# Backend Game Services Software Engineer . Their games are played in over 40 countries and consistently rank in the top 10 in some of the biggest markets due, in part, to their commitment to building data-driven game features. This company has 4 game development studios in North America and over 150 employees.
Responsibilities: - Take responsibility for backend game services for high volume mobile games
- Collaborate with small, rotating, interdisciplinary teams consisting of game designers, audio engineers, artists, and developers to create premium HTML5 games.
- Partner closely with our development community to continuously design, implement, improve, and debug our in-house game and engine codebases.
- Integrate within the development community and contribute to designing, implementing, improving, and debugging our in-house game and engine codebases.
- Write well architected, structured, and maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews, providing thoughtful, constructive, and thorough feedback.
Requirements: - Excellent working knowledge in use of development frameworks, libraries and agile methodologies along with solid development experience using C# and OOP.
- Expertise working on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work with others in a demanding and fast paced environment.
- Degree or Diploma in software development.
- Minimum of 5 years software development experience.
- Mature OOP skills and experience
- Experience as lead developer building high volume resilient C# services
- Game development experience not required but it is a plus.
Salary Range: Wide salary range competitive with market rates to accommodate mid level and senior level engineers
