Job description
The beautiful Diplomat Beach Resort Hollywood, Curio Collection by Hilton is seeking a full-time Food Server to join their team at Point Royal! This 1000-room oceanfront resort is a beautiful getaway with two beachside pools, a Dip & Slide splash pad for kids, and 1,000 linear feet of alabaster beach, offering stunning views, delicious dining options, and endless sunshine to guests! As a Food Server, you would be responsible for serving food and/or beverages to guests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability . Ideal candidates for this position will have a strong work ethic and positive team attitude, the ability to work well under pressure with attention to detail and 1-2 years previous serving experience.
Shift Pattern: candidates should be available to work flexible shifts between the hours of 6 am and 3 pm, weekdays/weekends/holidays as needed.
Pay Rate: $7.90 per hour, plus tips

What will I be doing?
As a Food Server, you would be responsible for serving food and/or beverages to guests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
· Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
· Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials
· Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system
· Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner
· Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
· Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations
· Ensure serving station is well-stocked at all times
