Job Summary:

As a Full Stack Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing business systems. Working remotely, you will collaborate with stakeholders to enhance our application portfolio, demonstrating proficiency in frontend technologies, including templating, styling, and interactive scripting. Your responsibilities will include translating business specifications into fast, maintainable, and resilient web applications. Additionally, you will mentor junior team members, contribute positively to team energy, and actively participate in the growth of our company.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the organization's app portfolio.
Demonstrate strong frontend skills, including templating, styling, and interactive scripting.
Translate business specifications into fast, maintainable, and resilient web applications.
Estimate, prioritize, plan, and execute work within a Jira workflow.
Identify, record, and document bugs; actively participate in maintaining application quality.
Mentor junior team members and contribute positively to the team's energy.
Proactively build features with test coverage, identifying and addressing lapses in existing feature coverage.
Stay informed about modern Rails patterns and anti-patterns through periodic audits.
Proactively seek technical self-development and share knowledge within the team.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience in Ruby on Rails development.
Solid background in software development with proficiency in additional languages, including Javascript.
Experience in writing automated specs, with competency in RSpec BDD.
Open source activity and engagement.
Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
Positive attitude with a growth mindset.
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject, or relevant experience.

Compensation:

Competitive base salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000.
Total compensation opportunity of $105,000 to $140,000 annually.

Note: This is a full-time remote position; applicants must be located in the United States.
