Role Summary
Reporting to the Director of North American Sales, this base salary plus commission role will require using a consultative sales approach at the executive and c-level to establish ongoing customer relationships in the US auction industry. Learning and assessing customer needs, understanding business requirements, and managing overall expectations to grow business is key to this role. Hitting or exceeding monthly revenue targets will be the metrics used to measure success.
Primary Responsibilities:
Own, manage and drive the full sales cycles- from the first contact through contract negotiation/close
Pitch Executive/C-level employees technology and marketplace solutions in a highly competitive marketplace
Use consultative selling, uncover objectives and provide strong revenue generating solutions
Maintain updated sales records and opportunity status in Salesforce.com
Forecast sales activity, revenue achievement, and manage a robust pipeline
Desired Skills and Experience:
2+ years of full-cycle B2B Sales experience
Consistent outperformance of quota
Proven track record of successfully selling SMB products and marketplace solutions to C-level employees
Successful experience working with a marketplace platform, technology provider
Experience selling advertising a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable with outbound calling with strong listening and probing skills
Technically savvy with strength in communicating business value over videoconference, telephone, and email.
