Joyful Jobs is recruiting on behalf of TMM Family Services, and we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Case Manager to join our team. As a Case Manager, you will play a crucial role in our Single Mom Program, providing support and guidance to empower single mothers within our community.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of no more than 20 single mothers (currently 18), providing individualized support and guidance.
- Report directly to the Housing & Program Manager, overseeing the legal aspects of housing matters for program participants.
- Cultivate and maintain partnerships with community organizations, working alongside the CEO and Marketing/PR leader to build strong collaborative relationships.
- Implement program initiatives aimed at enhancing financial education, career exploration, mental health, and family services for program participants.
- Ensure program participation and accountability by motivating and holding mothers accountable, while maintaining empathy and understanding.
- Organize and facilitate engaging events for program participants.
Requirements and Qualifications
:
- At least two years’ experience as a Case Manager, Social Worker, or other transferable experience.
- Associates’ degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Must pass a background check and have a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and empathize with program participants.
- Understanding of grant reporting procedures and ability to effectively track program outcomes and demographic data.
- Familiarity with grant reporting from a case management perspective, including tracking client interactions and outcomes.
- Preferred: bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
Compensation, Benefits, and Perks:
- $45,000-50,000/year annual salary, depending on experience.
- Full benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k with employer match, and a credit from TMM for employees towards monthly benefits costs.
- Work hours of 8:30-4:00 or 9-4:30 (with the expectation that case manager will be available for appointments outside of these hours on occasion, as determined by the needs and schedule of the clients on current caseload and occasional special events).
