Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Finance Consultant to join our team, responsible for implementing Deltek Vision's Accounting and Concur Expense & Invoice systems for our valued clients across the United States. In this role, you will lead project management efforts, ensuring seamless implementations, managing budgets, schedules, and ultimately, client satisfaction. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our sales team to support Accounting module sales initiatives as needed. Beyond implementations, you will actively seek opportunities to enhance client relationships and contribute to our team's professional growth under the guidance of our Consulting Manager and Vice President of Consulting.

This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from home. However, occasional travel (15-30%) will be required for both business development and consulting needs.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop tailored implementation strategies for clients, focusing on quality-driven solutions.
Collaborate with clients to identify pain points and develop effective solutions.
Manage project plans to ensure adherence to budgets, achieve targeted utilization, and maintain proper scheduling.
Facilitate effective communication between clients and programming experts regarding data migration, workflows, stored procedures, and custom report requests.
Participate in business development efforts, maintaining visibility through the Vision System as required.
Contribute to marketing initiatives such as blogs, vlogs, presentations for conferences, and webinars.
Advise on the development of innovative service offerings in collaboration with senior management.
Required Experience / Qualifications

5 years of experience in utilizing and managing Deltek Vision's Accounting system and/or Concur Invoice & Expense.
Experience working with project managers and finance staff, with a strong understanding of how the Accounting module integrates and affects Vision's overall management and reporting tool.
Familiarity with Deltek Vision accounting processes and procedures, workflows, and Stored Procedures is advantageous.
Knowledge of Concur Invoice and Expense modules processes and procedures, workflows, and Stored Procedures is a plus.
Understanding of commonly used concepts, practices, policies, and procedures within the Professional Services industry.
Knowledge of basic college-level accounting or higher.
Exceptional presentation, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service orientation with excellent phone manner.
Ability to thrive under pressure and solve problems proactively.
Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
Willingness to take ownership of client issues and stretch beyond comfort zones.
High integrity and impeccable business ethics.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in a related field.
