Pizza Maker/Cook

Your Pie Pizza is looking for a Pizza Cook in our Johns Creek, GA location. We are looking for a team player who is eager to learn and work hard. We are looking for a person who is willing to work in a fast-paced environment and is willing to help wherever needed.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Prepare pizzas, including using the proper pizza dough and sauce

• Clean kitchen and stock inventory at the beginning of each shift
• Work as part of a team with other cooks and dishwashing staff
• Be able to lift 50 pounds
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Be able to follow verbal and written instructions
• Follow all food safety procedures, including verifying and removing dates from food
• Maintain a clean work environment, including washing dishes, sweeping/mopping floors, sanitizing counters, etc.
• Work cooperatively with co-workers in both daily and weekly tasks

Experience:

Food service experience preferred; 1 year as a cook in a restaurant or other commercial setting preferred

• Fast-paced production kitchen; frequent lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, kneeling, standing up to 10 hours per day
• Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
• Must be able to follow all food safety procedures
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment (5 tables; 2-person teams)
• Must be able to follow all restaurant rules and procedures at all times; including following food safety and sanitation rules and regulations as well as following company policies and procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: Up to $12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
