Southeastern Directions for Life is one of 11 Community Mental Health Centers in South Dakota dedicated to providing quality, professional services to keep our individuals, families, schools, workplaces, and communities emotionally strong and healthy. We serve children, adults, and families each year in Minnehaha, Lincoln, McCook, and Turner Counties. Southeastern's mission is "empowering people to discover their directions for life in a changing world."
Southeastern Directions for Life has an immediate opening for a full-time Outpatient Therapist at our 5th St location. Schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

JOB SUMMARY: A member of a multidisciplinary team and have the responsibility to provide counseling to assigned caseload. While providing individual, group, and family therapy, participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning by developing a comprehensive psychosocial assessment and crisis intervention consultation. Complete necessary documentation. Provide public or educational presentations as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in a helping profession with LPC, LPC-MH, LCSW, or LCSW-PIP licensure. QMHP or the ability to obtain a QMHP preferred. Must have a current driver's license, car insurance, and a driving record acceptable to Southeastern’s insurance provider. Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check to include fingerprinting, Dept. of Social Services Central Registry check, Motor Vehicle background check, and drug screening.
