Job description
Aderas, Inc. is seeking a Deployment Lead to join the team.
Primary Job Duties:
- Oversee release of updates and/or new rollouts to technical systems
- Manage a support team of three, ensure that release deployments are understood by team
- Work with the Deployment Manager on schedule, processes, coordination and team management
- Conduct or ensure that Site survey/assessments have been conducted
- Develop or tailor detailed deployment plan along with backout plans for deployment and back up plans for personnel
- Ensure the products have been correctly and completely integrated across the program
- Validate that all release controls have been satisfied
- Coordinate with Training Manager to understand training plan prior to deployment
- Assist Deployment Manager with release of pre-planned communications to stakeholders
- Conduct a release retrospective with team to improve deployment process and team productivity
- Provide guidance and technical expertise to deployment teams, ensuring adherence to deployment plans, system configurations, and deployment schedules
- Serve as the escalation point for resolving complex technical issues, coordinating support resources, and implementing effective resolution strategies to minimize disruptions.
- Monitor deployment progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization
- Document deployment activities, milestones, and lessons learned for knowledge sharing, compliance, and continuous improvement purposes
- Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and internal teams to address system enhancements, upgrades, and new feature requirements
- Maintain compliance with security protocols, data privacy regulations, and organizational policies to safeguard sensitive information and mitigate cybersecurity risks
Required Education & Work Experience:
- BS or higher degree in Computer Information Systems or related field, or equivalent of 8+ years experience
- 5+ yrs experience in planning and conducting software deployment
- Comprehensive understanding of software development processes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and drive results in dynamic environments
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, deployment strategies, and change management principles
- Strong system integration experience
- Must meet 8570 Certifications - at minimum IAT Level 1 requirements, preferably IAT Level II or higher
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Healthcare sector
- Experience in Military Health
- Experience in Federal Agency and/or DoD
- Deep understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and regulatory requirements, with knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) preferred
- Excellent written and oral communications skills, including ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical community
- Critical thinking skills
- Political acumen
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous deadlines
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Required for Applicants (Active U.S. Passport needed)
Location: Remote / 70% CONUS and OCONUS travel
