This position is responsible for…. The Vice President, Product and Brand Marketing will be the ambassador for the product and brand campaigns to drive growth and expansion through new and enhanced products, pricing strategies, upstream and downstream marketing initiatives and other growth-oriented tactics. S/he oversees the management of the strategic product roadmap, product development, product launch, and product marketing initiatives to gain maximum benefit from each product. S/he will provide organizational direction and execution of strategies to increase customer base, market share, and profitability to achieve the revenue, profit and loss (P&L) goals for the business unit. S/he ensures product and brand initiatives align with greater organizational strategy and direction by partnering with the Commercial and Executive leadership key stakeholders. S/he will mentor staff members for improved performance, career growth, and be an inspirational leader.
Your day will be very busy… you will: - Researches target customers and identifies effective marketing channels to promote products or brand. Analyzes data to identify strategic opportunities that can be used to improve business performance.
- Creates strategies, brand initiatives, and platform roadmaps for each key product category to drive freshness, eliminate redundant or unnecessary product offerings, reduce cost, drive manufacturing efficiencies, sales, customer loyalty, and deliver on greater organizational strategies. Works with senior executives to develop and implement long-term strategic plans for the company or organization.
- Develops the policies and procedures utilized in the design and implementation of marketing activities.
- Reviews internal metrics to understand market demands, technology trends, and the competitive field and develop an effective marketing strategy.
- Collaborates with various departments to ensure the product vision is understood and implemented effectively.
- Reviews and approves project schedules and required resources to ensure marketing campaigns are within budget and executed on time.
- Leads, plans, and directs all aspects of the product lifecycle and marketing activities to ensure revenue, profitability and increase brand presence and awareness.
- Oversees the implementation of operating procedures to drive successful product or brand campaigns and leads process improvements as needed.
- Works closely with strategic sourcing team to drive supplier focused initiatives around cost, supply chain efficiency, and supply continuity.
- Establishes relationships with clients and other key stakeholders to facilitate business development and growth.
- Reviews financial reports and providing recommendations for improvement to management.
- Serves as the subject matter expert (SME) for assigned markets/market segments and related product offerings for internal and external audiences.
- Works with internal and external research sources to maintain accurate market and market segment profiles to drive decision-making; commissions/conducts primary research as needed.
- Works with counterparts in QA and RA to ensure a high degree of cross-functional collaboration on quality and regulatory initiatives and overall results.
- Collaborates with commercial and software solutions teams in the creation and development of market facing campaigns.
- Determines and establishes pricing strategies for products and channels.
- Serves as a primary content and subject resource for thought leadership and demand generation efforts.
- Ensures that the business unit has adequate staff, equipment, facilities, and other resources to accomplish its goals.
- Monitors the progress of ongoing projects to ensure that they are on schedule and within budget.
- Sponsors cost reduction initiatives for profitability.
- Primary business unit communicator to executive leadership, corporation, commercial team members and customers.
- Leadership responsibilities include the selection, development, performance management and continuous recalibration of staff; ensures appropriate staffing levels and resource allocation; performs administrative tasks associated with timekeeping, pay, performance, policy administration and other matters related to employment.
- Assesses staff and provides timely and consistent feedback regarding technical proficiency and effectiveness. Provides constructive feedback, guidance, and reinforcement to employees regarding job performance. Works with staff to identify work goals and create individual development plans. Evaluates training programs to ensure content meets staff needs.
What your background will be: - Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field required. MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of experience and accomplishments similar in nature to the job duties and responsibilities described with 5+ years in director or above leadership position.
- Experience managing large teams responsible for profit and loss of a business segment.
- Knowledge of both wholesale and billing channels preferred.
- Experience successfully developing and implementing strategic plans and initiatives to drive business growth required.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret market trends as a foundation for technology and product roadmaps. Knowledge and experience with revenue cycle management and ability to read and understand financial reports.
- Proven success in establishing key performance indicators, metrics, and focus to drive growth.
- Computer proficient to include MS project, web browser/internet search, MS Outlook, MS Office to include advanced Excel skills and the ability to produce presentation-ready slides in PowerPoint. Technical competence includes the ability to learn new software and systems.

Salary Range $190,000.00 - $225,000.00
