Description of Work:
This position will be responsible for comprehensive management of daily business operations within the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department. The Administrative Coordinator will serve as the liaison to the college administrative unit and university functional offices. Assist members of the department with fund administration/monitoring, including the personnel, grant and expense management/monitoring. Serve as the liaison to the college administrative unit and university functional offices and advise faculty of university policies and procedures related to personnel activity and grants/contracts expenditures. Position will be responsible for working to support the Department Chair with the monitoring of the department budget, scholarship awards and fellowship distribution.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus two years of progressively responsible experience to include work in a business or customer service environment; equivalent education/experience considered. Experience supervising employees. Proficiency in document/report preparation and formatting in MS Word and Excel. Experience must demonstrate excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, organizational, and detail orientation skills. Ability to work effectively with multiple deadlines and professionally with students, faculty, staff, and community groups.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree. Experience in an academic environment. Extensive use of a wide range of electronic communication.
Posted Salary: $19.808/hr minimum
