Job description
We are a full-service marketing and public relations agency seeking an experienced Public Relations Manager to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your skills and experience to execute strategic PR campaigns and build relationships with media contacts on behalf of our clients.
In this role, you will develop and implement creative PR plans that align with client objectives and resonate with target audiences. Duties include: - Managing client accounts as the main point of contact and providing strategic counsel - Identifying PR opportunities and developing pitch angles tailored to client needs - Building and maintaining relationships with media contacts across print, online, TV and radio at the local, regional and national level - Drafting a wide range of PR materials including press releases, bylined articles, speeches, talking points and more - Preparing clients for interviews and managing the interview process from start to finish - Collaborating with other agency teams including social media, design and account services to ensure seamless execution of PR initiatives across campaigns - Mentoring junior staff through feedback, direction and industry knowledge sharing - Monitoring news and industry trends to stay on top of relevant happenings The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience executing PR campaigns with a proven track record of securing top tier media placements. You are creative, proactive, and excited by the fast-paced nature of the PR world. Strong writing skills and media relationships are a must.
