Job description
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for managing all clinical aspects of the service provision. Overall responsibilities include clinical quality compliance and improvement; clinical supervision of staff; and clinical program operations.
- Designs appropriate level of care and interventions for each client
- Demonstrates compliance with recordkeeping requirements of relevant licensing and accreditation bodies (e.g. DMAS, DBHDS, Human Rights, DOE.VAISEF and COA) through file and client record reviews, documentation, client outcomes and clinical continuity Ensures clinical documentation meets regulation/s requirements. Reviews, rejects and approves clinical documentation for assigned clinical staff on a daily basis, and provides feedback to supervisees.
- Ensures active individual, family and community engagement appropriate to each client’s needs to support progress across settings Participates actively in agency quality assurance activities including performance and outcomes review, case record review, stakeholder satisfaction review, incident review, and improvement planning.
- Monitors compliance with treatment services. Reviews concerns and how to mitigate barriers to successful treatment with each supervisee.
- Partakes in monthly peer review and other quality improvement activities while working closely with to ensure clinically sound documentation.
- Reviews assessments & staff’s diagnoses along with appropriate recommendation for treatment services with Sr. Clinical Director.
- Assists with completing intakes, diagnostic evaluations, assessments (e.g., CANS/2.0, TIC screenings, etc.), as needed.
- Monitors clinical activities, clinical schedule and utilization of clinical resources to ensure quality standards are met
- Assists in development of program goals, objectives and policies
- Implements and coordinates delivery of effective wraparound services
- Undertakes or assigns to credentialed clinicians all eligibility/re-eligibility assessments and intakes to ensure their timely completion
Qualifications
- Licensed professional (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, etc.)
- Current Virginia license (such as LCSW or LPC).
