Job description
Northeast Family Services is seeking an Assistant Vice President (AVP) of New Hampshire to support the agency’s mission and core values.
The Assistant Vice President of Behavioral Health Services works collaboratively with our administrative team to oversee services including Outpatient, In-Home Therapy, Road to Recovery (R2R) and other programs as they are developed and assigned within the state of New Hampshire.
The AVP is responsible for the effective management of services including oversight of quality, compliance, outcomes, staffing safety, service delivery and financial performance. The AVP will create and implement a region-wide behavioral health system across the continuum of care and will have oversight and management responsibilities over behavioral health options. This position will be the main contact between the Sr. Vice President and the state’s Program Directors.
This is on-site position and can be based in any of our New Hampshire Locations

Requirements :
- Independent License (LICSW, LCMHC, or licensed Psychologist) in the state of New Hampshire
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related Human Services field
- At least five years of experience in the management of behavioral health operations in a behavioral health setting
- An in-depth working knowledge of administration and operations with a strong emphasis on, and an understanding of, financial management, strategic planning, client care, quality assessment and improvement, risk management, employee relations and human resource management
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the state of New Hampshire; valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Understanding of New Hampshire’s service array and needs
- Ability to assist with the discovery and development of grants, contracts and related tasks
- Ability to manage multiple programs and/or service systems
