Project Coordinator Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a window / door installation environment preferred but not necessary
Reports to: The Purchasing Manager
General Responsibility: The Project Coordinator purchases materials and works with Salespeople and Customers to meet all customer needs
Key Tasks and Responsibilities of the Project Coordinator :
- The Project Coordinator works with Sales Team on all contracts to verify completeness & accuracy of product availability
- Prepare/Create job folders
- Apply for permits
- Regular computer use to both order and keep job status up to date
- Collate & submit purchase orders and purchase requisitions to order materials, goods and supplies using various means
- Keep in regular contact with customers in regards to lead times via phone and email
- Interact with the suppliers on a daily basis
- Review deliveries against the orders
- The Project Coordinator tracks the status of all orders
- Deal with non-supplied, under orders, over orders and damaged goods
- Submit financing information for customers
- Attend weekly production meetings
- Code invoices and enter in accounting software for job costing

Project Coordinator Time Requirement: 40 hours per week with potential for overtime, availability Monday thru Friday and an occasional Saturday
