CEI Roadway Inspector

S&ME is currently seeking full-time CEI Roadway Inspectors to join our Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) team in Western North Carolina. Inspectors can reside anywhere within an hour of the project site and will have access to a company vehicle to report directly to the site.
What You Will Do:
As a CEI Roadway Inspector , you will perform technical duties associated with the oversight, administration, and inspection of transportation projects, including roadway, bridge, rail, pedestrian, port, and /or aviation, to determine the contractor's compliance with the contract, plans, and specifications. You are subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions and to various types of weather and field conditions, including heights, uneven terrain, highway traffic, hazards of highway construction sites, and heavy equipment, and may travel/work extended hours, weekends, and/or holidays.

Pay rate is based on the level of experience. Additional incentives are available for existing applicable certifications.
