GLOVIS EV Logistics America LLC is an integrated logistics company located in Savannah, Georgia. We provide Tier 1 logistic, warehousing and inventory services to Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA). GLOVIS EV Logistics America was established on October 6, 2022.

Job Summary: The TW specialist will be responsible for overseeing continuous mfg processes improvements and accountable for safety , quality, delivery, cost, capability, productivity monitoring , tracking and reporting. Specialist will champion daily, weekly and monthly continuous improvements , plan and execute activities around process improvements . The specialist will be responsible for overseeing the parts inventory process.

Key Responsibilities :

• Support development and management of the inventory system, processes, and inventory team members, ensuring policies and procedures are carried out to achieve established. business goals and objectives.
• Conduct deep dive analysis of discrepancies, preform root-cause-analysis, and collaborate with leadership teams to drive development and implementation of preventative action plans.
• Conduct research to develop new and improved processes for manufacturing.
• Conduct testing, research, track and monitor process performance for the Tire and Wheel department.
• Reporting, tracking, monitoring, compiling data/information for intelligent decision-making process KPI's.
• Assist in driving department material/process flows, ensuring continual material flow to ensure production schedules are maintained and customer satisfaction is ensured.
• 100% comply with and promote safety in the workplace, ensuring proper PPE is worn at all times, engaging T/M when proper PPE compliance is not followed. Attend safety meeting (s) daily and actively participate with safety concerns. Conduct periodic safety audits (audit heijunka). Compliance with industry regulations and safety standards, such as tire labeling requirements.
• Assist/Monitor Tire and Rim inventories as they arrive on Glovis Yard from supplier.
• Assist with tracking, monitoring, and partner to resolve all tool and equipment issues submitted to leadership for review. Data supported formulation of pareto charts and glidepaths for high visibility problem solving.
• Keeping up to date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and customer preferences to make informed business decisions.
• Superior communication skills (both verbal and written), ability to promote a positive work environment, and effective at motivating team members through performance in areas of safety, quality, delivery, cost, capability, productivity, and employee engagement.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors Degree in Related Field.
• Minimum 3- 5 years process specialist experience in a large manufacturing facility, high volume, fast paced operations.
• Automotive/ Tire industry experience preferred.
• 4 years Lean/Continuous Improvement experience across products and mfg processes preferred.
• Successful track record of researching inventory discrepancies with experience in implementing.
• High Viz reporting, upward progress reporting to leadership.
• Proficient in 5S, Gemba, SQDCCP methodologies and contributing process lean tools.
• 3-4 years strong/proficient deep dive, root-cause-analysis (RCA) background.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds when necessary.

The estimated base salary range for this job is $55,700 - $61,600. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
