Job description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager will play a crucial role in supporting various accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end close, and financial reporting. Additionally, this position will oversee one staff member in payroll management.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payments and collections.
• Coordinate month-end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Supervise payroll operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and accuracy in processing.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to enhance internal controls and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial analysis and decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in accounting roles, with 3+ years in a managerial capacity.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience in the construction industry a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
