Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Vice President (SVP) of Corporate Development to lead our company's growth and expansion efforts. The SVP Corporate Development will be responsible for identifying and evaluating potential strategic opportunities, partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions that align with our business objectives. This role will play a critical role in shaping the company's future through strategic planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A):

• Lead the identification, evaluation, and negotiation of potential M&A opportunities.

• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of acquisition targets.

• Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for potential acquisitions.

• Lead cross-functional teams through the M&A process, from initial assessment to integration.

Strategic Partnerships:

• Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and alliances that drive business growth.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess partnership opportunities.

• Negotiate and execute partnership agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.

Corporate Strategy:

• Contribute to the development and refinement of the company's overall corporate strategy.

• Work closely with the executive team to align corporate goals with growth initiatives.

• Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.

Financial Analysis:

• Perform financial modeling and analysis to evaluate the financial impact of potential transactions.

• Assess the valuation and ROI of strategic opportunities.

• Develop comprehensive business cases to support decision-making.

Team Leadership:

• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the department.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.

• Proven experience in corporate development, M&A, or strategic planning at a senior level.

• Strong negotiation, financial analysis, and due diligence skills.

• Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to think strategically and drive results in a dynamic and competitive industry.
