Systems Administrator Level 3 - System Operations

LufCo is hiring a Systems Administrator to provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
Location: Annapolis Junction, MD
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the following: - Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems
- Provides support to IT including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
- Provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems
- Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
- Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
- Understanding and demonstrating building servers from scratch and troubleshooting
Requirements: - A TS/SCI with Polygraph level Clearance is required to support this effort
- B.S. degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Five years’ experience may be substituted for a degree
- Ten (10) years’ experience in System Administration or in programs and contracts of similar scope
- Demonstrated hands-on capability, Strong Linux (10+ years of daily hands-on), Dataflow Capability (NiFi knowledge), JSON, ITX, VMs. Knowledge of networking, ports, ACLs, firewall rules. Strong DNS understanding, building servers from scratch, troubleshooting. Knowledge of Puppet/Ansible. Leaning towards an Integrator.
Python/Bash scripting with DevOps experience - Ability to be on the on-call rotation after training
