Job Location:

• The office for this position is located at the Harry S. Truman State Office Building, 301 W High Street, Jefferson City, MO. 65101.
• Candidates who complete a successful onboarding and training period may be eligible to work at an alternate location in compliance with OA-ITSD's Distributed Workforce Plan.

This position is within our Information Technology Services Division (ITSD) with Client Engagement Services (CES) as an Applications Developer. Experience with Cherwell and/or Service Now is desirable. This position will require a high level of understanding and ability to solve complex problems. The applicant should also be comfortable working in a small and adaptive team of developers. They should be self-motivated and have a positive attitude. They must have a desire to continually develop new skills. They must be able to adopt ITSD values: innovation, partnership, passion, respect, and integrity. Developers will complete system enhancement requests and system maintenance. They will perform moderately complex assignments that may require the development of new or improved applications, processes, or techniques.

This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) supporting Client Engagement Services (CES).

• Accountable for applying and using experience in the field of application development and support to write and modify code, test, debug, document, and implement software applications.
• Write and update technical specifications.
• Coordinate and work with agency staff on open tickets and requests.

• Work with internal staff and external vendors to develop new system functionality.
