Summary
As the Director of Process Excellence, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing process improvement initiatives within the organization. You will lead a team of analysts, guide project execution, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality of service for our clients and their members. Your role will be integral in driving efficiency and operational excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Will lead, mentor, and develop a team of Process Excellence Analysts, ensuring their professional growth and success
- Identify, assess, and prioritize areas for process improvement, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement enhancements
- Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of process improvement projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with established goals
- Utilize data analytics to identify key performance indicators, track project progress, and provide insights for driving improvements
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization, championing best practices and promoting effective change management principles
- Collaborate with department heads, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure that operational improvements meet their needs and expectations
- Ensure that all operational improvements adhere to regulatory requirements and maintain the highest quality standards
- Provide regular reports to senior management and stakeholders, summarizing the impact of process improvement initiatives on key performance metrics
- Place a strong emphasis on understanding and meeting customer needs. Ensures that operational departments align their processes with customer requirements, regulatory requirements and quality expectations
Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 7 years of experience in process improvement and operational excellence, specifically within a high SKU diversity, high output, quality-controlled environment. Pharmacy experience preferred
- Proven record of success in leading process improvement or Process Excellence teams
- Strong background in project management, lean methodologies, and continuous improvement principles.
- PBM experience a plus

Work Environment / Physical Demands This position is in a typical office environment which requires prolonged sitting in front of a computer. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment including operation of standard phone, fax machine, and copier. Position may require travel up to 25% of time.
