Job description
Mecca HR Solutions is hiring for a Director of Resort Operations.
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute operational strategies aligning with organizational objectives and supporting the Mission and Vison of the Resort.
- Collaborate with the Executive Team to define and implement goals, objectives and long-term plans for the department and enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
Hotel Operations and Rental Management:
- Oversee the operations of the hotel and luxury home & villa accommodations.
- Ensure excellence in guest services operations, housekeeping and maintenance by setting and maintaining departmental standards.
- Implement and refine procedures to maximize revenues, drive operational efficiency and productivity and continuously elevate guest experience.
Property Management:
- Oversee property management activities for homes and villas on the rental management program.
- Support property managers in communication with the property owners.
- Set and enforce standards for the rental program to ensure all properties adequately represent the Resort, in order to maintain and elevate guest satisfaction ratings.
- Ensure maintenance schedules, renovations, evaluations and repairs are completed in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Property Procurement:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to grow the rental management program.
- Work closely with the Property Procurement Manager to negotiate contracts with new owners.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with local real estate teams, as well as current and potential property owners.
Financial Management:
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage budgets for each operational area.
- Review monthly P/L statements and ensure budget goals are met.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze reports, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Guest Experience:
- Maintain a relentless focus on delivering exceptional guest experience.
- Ensure Forbes Travel Guide standards are maintained in all areas of hotel operations.
- Ensure any guest concerns are addressed promptly driving high levels of guests’ satisfaction.
- Implement initiatives to enhance guest engagement and loyalty.
Staff Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professionalism, and individual growth.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Handle employee related issues in collaboration with the HR Department.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
- Implement and oversee quality assurance programs for accommodations and services.
- Ensure Forbes Travel Guide 4-star Rating is maintained, while leading the team towards achieving the 5-star award in the future.
- Other duties may be assigned by the President of The Resort.

- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and ten or more years of related management experience.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within luxury hotel and/or rental management operations.
- Strong background in property management and procurement.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Proficiency in hotel and property management systems and software.
- Must have a working knowledge of computer operations including databases, word processing, and spreadsheet applications.

Valid Driver's License
Property Manager-in-Charge License (preferred)
