Job description
A family in Manhattan is seeking a full-time superstar nanny for their two young children. The candidate to hire must have prior or current experience working in the educational sector. The schedule can be curated that works for the candidate to hire, but an ideal schedule would be Wednesday through Sunday or Monday through Friday with working 1-2 weekends a month and then having 2 weekdays off when working those weekends. However, they can also do Monday through Friday if this is preferred. The hours can be flexible, but an example would be 8am-6pm.
The candidate to hire for this role must be proficient and an excellent problem solver, someone who can handle the dynamics of children and has more strategy than just minding children. The eldest child (age 5.5) is in school from 7:30am-3:15pm. The candidate to hire must help the eldest child regular his behavior in understanding way. The son is very empathetic and has a bit of ADHD; he can be very sensitive. The candidate to hire will need to be able to help oversee his academics and have the tools to help him finish tasks. The younger child is nearly 3-years-old and in school from 9am-12pm, but two days a week has another school from 3:30pm-5pm as well. The ideal candidate loves to laugh, is playful with children, has a bright personality, educates in a creative way, can plan activities for the children, and is enthusiastic about education. When the children are in school, it would be great if the candidate to hire will be open to run some errands for the family and complete some PA-type tasks.
The job duties consist of school drop-off and pick-up, after-school activities, helping with homework, teaching manners, providing educational lessons, and promoting healthy eating/lifestyle.
