Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage the Medical Need Submissions received from members which include creating the record within the system, obtaining additional information for determination, process provider & member payments, create medical bills for payout, and communicate status with member. Maintain HIPAA compliance and company compliance policies. Works with members and providers to ensure fair pricing is applied when self-pay discounts are not offered. Make payments over the phone for eligible services. Communicate in a timely and efficient manner with members and providers regarding questions, concerns, and updates regarding their Medical Need Submissions. Takes inbound and outbound phones from members and providers. Responds to inbound emails. Required Skills and Abilities: ~1-2 years' previous customer service experience. ~ Microsoft Office Suite proficiency. ~ Proficient in organization of digital files. ~ Ability to navigate Windows 10 efficiently. ~ Professional level of verbal and written communication. ~ Strong Interpersonal Communication skills. ~ Attention to Detail. ~ Time Management. ~ Ability to work effectively within a team. ~ Sincere desire to help other people. Education: ~ High school diploma Physical Requirements: Sit for up to 8 hours a day and look at dual computer screens. Type on a keyboard at a minimum of 45 WPM. Experience preferred: Experience working with and interpreting medical bills, statements, receipts and medical records. Familiarity with HIPAA. Experience or familiarity in working from a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
