Job description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and coordinate projects across all our operational verticals, including IT Operations, Compliance, Customer Support, Customer Onboarding, and Development. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Atlassian Jira, including the management of initiatives, epics, stories, and tasks. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure all tasks are completed timely by the teams and facilitate effective cross-functional communication. This is a full-time, onsite position requiring the candidate to be present in the Pleasanton office 5 days a week.

Requirements

• Project Coordination : Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects across multiple verticals, ensuring they meet quality standards, deadlines, and budget requirements.
• Jira Management : Expertly manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources using Atlassian Jira. Set up and maintain initiatives, epics, stories, and tasks to ensure clear visibility and tracking of project progress.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Serve as the linchpin for cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless communication and coordination between IT Operations, Compliance, Customer Support, Customer Onboarding, and Development teams.
• Stakeholder Communication : Keep all stakeholders informed of project status, potential risks, and decision points. Prepare and present regular project reports and updates.
• Problem Solving : Identify potential project bottlenecks or delays early and develop effective solutions. Facilitate negotiations and problem-solving sessions as needed.
• Process Improvement : Continuously evaluate project management processes and workflows for efficiency and effectiveness. Implement improvements to streamline operations and enhance team productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, IT, or a related field. PMP certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a tech or SaaS environment.
• Profound knowledge of Atlassian Jira, including setting up projects, managing workflows, and generating reports.
• Strong understanding of the project lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving project goals.
