Business System Analyst
Simi Valley, CA
6-month contract +
Pay Rate $60-67/HR.
We have a major open position, Business System Analyst. This position will play a vital role in the Fire, Safety & Power Systems Division to craft and execute plans for successful acquisition integration and major technology solution deployments in support of the divisions' Digital and IT strategic vision and roadmap. You will work directly with Business dept. leaders, cross-functional users and Internal/Vendor functional & technical teams on the planning, Implementing, and supporting IT Business Applications solutions. Solid knowledge of business and ERP processes in a complex manufacturing environment. Prior experience with SAP or Infor Visual ERP, a plus. Ability to travel as needed.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years related IT experience
- 4-year University / College Degree and significant technical / business certifications
- ERP implementation support: Act as a subject matter expert in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, providing expertise and guidance throughout the implementation process. Assist in system configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, analyze existing processes, and identify areas for improvement.
- Translate business needs into clear and actionable functional/technical requirements, to deliver information technology solutions.
- Data analysis and reporting: Analyze complex datasets, perform data mapping, and develop meaningful insights to support decision-making processes. Create and deliver comprehensive reports, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.

- Accountable for delivery of solutions (Business Process), plus the architecture and documentation within their area of technical expertise, supporting enterprise and global environments.
- Proactively anticipates changes, makes recommendations to leadership, leads, and implements change within the team.
- Proficient in IT life-cycle management methodologies, including design, development, testing, project management, and change management.
- Proficient in analyzing and documenting complex business processes
- Producing Cost Benefit Analysis and recommending solutions to improve the business process(es)
- Ability to travel as needed.
