Kwik Trip’s Maintenance Department is looking for an experienced Bakery Maintenance Supervisor.

Job Description :

This individual will be responsible for carrying out plans to effectively utilize technical resource to drive overall equipment effectiveness. The Maintenance Supervisor will be supervising production maintenance technicians during 3rd shift who directly perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and project activities for all production related equipment and processes.

Regular tasks include:

• Provide strong leadership and direction to the maintenance team
• Maintain a high performance maintenance team through effective communication
• Skills development, goal setting, and coaching and mentoring
• Be instrumental in the implementation of a CMMS (Maximo) system
• Support development of items such as work flows, PM’s, inventory management, and time tracking
• Ensure all GMP’s, Food Safety, and Health and Safety policies are maintained
• Maintain relative budgets to support maintenance and operational objectives
• Demonstrate hands-on activity when appropriate support or training is required at all production lines and equipment
• Follow and enforce all company policies and confront performance issues as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-year Electro-mechanical degree or equivalent production maintenance experience
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing a maintenance team in a production environment, as well as 2 years working as a technician or hands-on supervisor in a production environment
• Prior experience with a CMMS
• Experience with troubleshooting/repair of electrical systems, mechanical systems, hydraulics, pumps, valves, and pneumatic systems/equipment
• Working knowledge of production equipment , troubleshooting Allen-Bradley PLC systems, boilers and compressed air systems
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Willing to learn and perform a variety of job tasks
• Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple projects
• Ability to work within food safety and regulatory standards
• Good working knowledge of hand and power tools
• Be proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, procedures in the bakery industry is a plus
• Knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC’s and supporting control devices

Experience in food processing, motion control systems, process improvement, and Maximo is a plus.

Work Schedule: Scheduled 40 hours/week consisting of an 8-hour shift working 7:00pm-3:00am scheduled Mon-Fri.
