Overview: Aerotek Aviation is currently looking to hire Aircraft Mechanics for one of the world's largest Helicopter Manufacturers in both assembly and maintenance departments. These are long term, contract to hire positions.
Job Description :
Aircraft Mechanics will Inspect, fabricate, repair, modify and install aircraft components, assemblies and subassemblies for MD Helicopters. Duties will include but not be limited to..
• Bench assembles, and installs major mechanical components and systems on aircraft
• Performs functional test of mechanical components and systems on aircraft
• Corrects discrepancies using information from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, or other documents as required
• Uses manufacturing planning, written instructions, schematics, blueprints and other applicable technical data to assemble, install or replace aircraft components
• Uses manufacturing shop stamp or test stamp to sign off completed work to include manufacturing planning, test
Pay Rate : $28.00 - $36.00 an hour
Shifts :
Multiple shifts available
• 5/8 or 4/10 shift schedule (possibility to move to 2nd shift (if preferred) after training)
o Monday – Friday, 6am – 2:30pm
o Monday – Thursday, 5am – 3:30pm
o Tuesday – Friday, 5am – 3:30pm
o 2nd shift hours are 3pm – 1:30am
Requirements :
Ideal candidate will have 3 - 5 years of Aircraft Maintenance Experience
A&P License is nice to have but not necessary
