Job Title:Executive Director of Records & Registration/Registrar
Pay Rate:$107,000 - $110,000 annually

Position Summary:The Executive Director of Records and Registration/Registrar provides leadership and oversight to all aspects of the department by effectively providing management for the maintenance and integrity of all student academic records, student registration, compliance with FERPA regulations, and maintenance of process for the equitable and consistent administration of policies and procedures related to academic record keeping. The Registrar leverages best practices, including technological resources, to provide a student-centered approach, emphasizing exemplary service to all constituents. The Registrar supervises the Registration and Records staff and serves on several standing committees. The Registrar must be able to use varying styles and approaches that reflect an understanding and acceptance of the role of culture in a diverse, multicultural workplace. This position supports the retention and success of all students.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Leadership, Vision, Management -1. Bachelor’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Business Administration, or related field.2. 8-10 years of experience in leadership/supervisory capacity in the college’s records or registration office or related administrative role.3. Demonstrated strategic leadership, supervision, planning, and change management skills.4. Proficiency in Peoplesoft or similar enterprise student information systems.5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.7. Familiarity with AACRAO best practices and commitment to their implementation.8. In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to enrollment reporting.
Desired Qualifications:1. Masters degree in Higher Education Administration, Business Administration or related field.2. 5-7 years of experience (if a Master’s degree is held) in leadership/supervisory capacity in college’s records or registration office or related administrative role.3. Proven ability to manage complex processes and procedures with accuracy and attention to detail managing automation systems in a higher education setting.
