Senior Software Developer/ Manager About The Job:We are searching for a full-time Senior Software Developer/Manager for our organization. We are looking for someone with expertise in developing secure web services, managing and efficiently accessing large databases, and integrating with other systems via web APIs. We prefer someone who can design and develop software using technologies such as, but not restricted to: Python, PHP, Go, JavaScript, Typescript, Git, PostgreSQL, Docker, MQTT. We would also like someone with expertise deploying web applications on cloud platforms. This position will involve helping to design and develop features on our Client System as well as our Client Cloud Services.
An ideal candidate would care about the quality/safety of the product, customer experience, reputation of the product and company and commercial success. We need someone with an awareness of general software development ecosystem, willingness to research and adopt new technologies as appropriate. Good communication skills with other developers and the ability to communicate efficiently at a "high level" and have that imply the right "low level" details. Must possess the ability to manage other developers and assign appropriate tasks for both project success and personal development, give appropriate instruction and review and integrate work.
Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience, a minimum of 10 years' experience developing and consuming secure web APIs and a minimum of 5 years with large database design. Masters' degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred.
