Job description
We are actively seeking to add a Controls Salesperson to the team.
- The primary responsibility for this position is to sell both new commercial controls design build and project retrofits.
- Types of Projects: Building Automation – Johnson FX
- Territory –North and Central New Jersey.
- They will also have a company vehicle.
- Prospecting and networking outside the client base for referrals to develop qualified leads for building automation upgrades, and design build projects.
Qualified applicants will have the following:
- 5+ years building automation controls system sales experience.
- Calling on engineers and mechanical contractors in the N NJ & NYC area
- Managing commercial accounts
- Build & establish relationships
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for selling and promoting our HVAC DDC (Direct Digital Controls) products to commercial and industrial customers.
- As a salesperson, you will work closely with our customers to identify their needs and provide effective solutions that meet their requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to identify opportunities for DDC control system sales.
- Conduct on-site customer visits and product demonstrations to promote DDC control system products and services.
- Prepare and present proposals, including pricing and contract terms, to potential customers.
- Collaborate with our engineering team to develop customized solutions for customers.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to HVAC DDC control systems.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and other events to build relationships and promote our.
