Associate Major Account Manager (Federal Civilian Agencies) Location: Office based in Herndon, VA preferred The Associate Major Account Manager is responsible for developing incremental business with new and existing commercial customers. The position will leverage Juniper's world-class partner ecosystem, direct/indirect selling, and prospecting. The candidate will excel in this dynamic role by leveraging a team of Senior Major Account Managers, Partner Account Managers, and Sales Engineers to support the growth of their territory

What you will do - Proactively prospect for new customers
- Manage the full sales lifecycle, from initial prospect through to closing sales, working both directly with clients and with partner vendors on business opportunities
- Manage both new and existing clients, develop your pipeline of opportunities
- Accurately forecast and report to sales teams and sales management
- Work on RFPs in collaboration with external and internal teams
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of our client relationship management (CRM) system - Salesforce
- Travel as necessary to support sales efforts and programs
- Work opportunities, quota attainment, sales presentations, short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunity management
- Responsible for building a pipeline
- Ability to understand and communicate complex technology, value propositions, and solutions
- Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers/partners and gains their trust and respect

- 3+ years' experience in Solutions selling, project management, or a technical discipline
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience

You will also need... - To be a US Citizen
- Eligible to get a clearance
- Federal experience preferred (Civilian, Military, or contractor)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
- A positive, enthusiastic, resilient, and driven attitude
- An ability to work well on your own initiative and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize in a dynamic, changing environment

Minimum Salary: $119,680.00
Maximum Salary:$172,040.00
The pay range for this position is expected to be between $119,680.00 and $172,040.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
