Seeking a mission-focused cleared Software Developer to support and contribute to our government customer's success in Chantilly, Virginia - Must have the required clearance to be considered for this opening !

Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities

• Work within the team to develop new and to enhance existing systems and applications
• Produce efficient and elegant code based on requirements
• Test and deploy programs and applications
• Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and improve existing software
• Compile assess user feedback to improve software performance
• Pro-actively seek opportunities to use process improvement and re-engineering methodologies to facilitate improvements to team processes

Required Experience, Skills, & Technologies

• An active security clearance - TS/SCI with a polygraph
• Five (5) years of relevant experience as a software developer
• Bachelors’ degree in a technical discipline – OR – 5 years additional years of software development experience
• Three (3) year of hands-on Python experience:
  • Experience developing REST APIs with frameworks such as Django, FastAPI
  • Experience developing CRUD logic using ORM frameworks or libraries for integration of relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Elasticsearch
• Three (3) year of hands-on React or other component-based JavaScript frameworks (like Vue or Angular) experience:
  • Experience with Redux Toolkit state management
  • Experience with Material UI Framework
  • Experience with unit testing
• One (1) year of Docker experience
• Experience with Microservice Architecture Development & Cloud Services
• Experience with Machine Learning model integration
• Analytic thinker who works well in a team environment
• Experience with agile development tools such as Git for version control and Jira for task tracking

Desired Experience, Skills & Technologies

• Experience with Terraform infrastructure-as-code
• Experience with Elasticsearch
• Experience with CI/CD automation tools
• Experience with Kubernetes

Security Clearance Requirement

• TS/SCI with a favorable polygraph

Schedule Weekly Hours

• Full-time on-site
